Color Amazonia Book

$ 350,000

A decade after its first publication, awarded the 2014 Lápiz de Acero prize in the Editorial Design category, Color Amazonia returns in an expanded edition that revisits its archive and delves into the project's evolution.

Across 428 pages, it documents the work in the jungle's artisanal workshop and portrays Kasia and her family, with whom the artist has developed the project for nearly 20 years. More than a study on pigments, this edition explores the medicinal, historical, and cultural value of 11 botanical species.

Additionally, it incorporates new texts by Wade Davis, Brigitte Baptiste, and María Wills, who reflect on the jungle, its impact on the planet, and the project's place in contemporary art.
